These Coturnix quail look like they're all dressed up and wearing a tuxedo! It’s why we call this mix the Black Tie Affair (or BTA).
Tuxedos have the dark back, white front feather pattern. They are quail that have a more solid color pattern (Tibetan, Rosetta, Scarlet and Red Range) bred with Whites.
Tuxedos are excellent egg layers - up to 320 eggs per year.
They are not feather sexable, but you can vent-sex them at maturity (6-8 weeks).
