We take great care to ensure your order arrives quickly and safely, but shipping has risks. Extreme weather or turbulence can cause delays, damage, or injuries. While we can't control what happens in shipping, we don't want the full burden of risk to fall on you. We offer generous refund guarantees on our hatching eggs and live birds so you can breathe a little easier if something does go wrong.

HATCH RATE Guarantee

50% hatch rate guarantee

If you get less than a 50% hatch rate, we'll refund 50% of the cost of your eggs (excluding shipping).

To calculate your hatch rate, take the number of hatched chicks and divide it by the TOTAL number of eggs in your order (ALL color varieties). You don't need to include the extra eggs we send! Examples:

45 hatched chicks
÷ 60 purchased eggs
= .75 or a 75% hatch rate

15 hatched chicks
÷ 30 purchased eggs
= .50 or a 50% hatch rate

To qualify, email connect@myshirefarm.com within 7 days of your hatch.

LIVE BIRD guarantee

We guarantee EVERY live quail we ship! We'll refund you for:

  • any birds that arrive dead or injured
  • any birds that die within 24 hrs of arrival

To qualify for the refund, email connect@myshirefarm.com within 3 days of arrival.

QUAIL 101 Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not 100% satisfied with your Quail 101 course, please contact us at connect@myshirefarm.com within 3 days of purchase for a full refund.

How can I get my refund?

To get qualify, email connect@myshirefarm.com within:

  • 7 days of the end of your hatch
  • 3 days of arrival of your live birds
  • 3 days of your course purchase

Please send us details about:

  • your hatch rate results
  • number of DOAs or injured birds
  • why you didn't like the course

Can I get replacement shipment instead of a refund?

Not right now. However, if this changes in the future, we'll update this page and let you know when you email us with your refund request.
