Our Jumbo Whites are great for eggs AND meat. They weigh, on average, about an ounce less than the Jumbo Wilds.
BUT their white feathers make them the different. If you leave the skin on your birds when you butcher, these quail dress out cleanly. No dark pin feathers that spot/stain the skin, which adds to their "plate appeal!"
Jumbo Whites are in the middle of the pack in our jumbo offering. They:
lay 295 eggs/year (vs 290 for Wilds and 300 for Egyptians)
weigh 13.5 oz (vs 14.3 for Wilds and 12.9 for Egyptians)
They are NOT feather sexable, however. You can gender ID them at maturity (6-8 weeks) vs 3 weeks for Jumbo Wilds and Egyptians.
