About Falb Fee Quail
Falb (pronounced "fab" as in fabulous!) Fee quail are a rare color variation of the Wild/Brown/Pharaoh. They carry the fee gene, which washes out the color so you get a more "black and white" version of the Wild - see video below.
We LOVE Falb Fees because they:
- are large for a standard-size quail
- are good, consistent layers
- have a longer production life
- are feather sexable,
which means that you don’t have to wait for chicks to reach maturity to identify their gender. At 3 weeks old, you can visually identify females (spotted chests) and males (solid-colored chests). You can select your breeding groups and separate extra males before they reach maturity. This prevents aggression and makes flock management easier!
