  which means that you don’t have to wait for chicks to reach maturity to identify their gender. At 3 weeks old, you can visually identify females (spotted chests) and males (solid-colored chests). This makes it easy to separate extra males before they reach maturity, which prevents aggression and makes flock management easier!
