About the Tuxedo Mix
Tuxedo is a color pattern (dark backside, white frontside) that makes the quail look like it’s wearing a tuxedo! It’s why we call this mix the Black Tie Affair (or BTA). This mix is a variety of tuxedo Tibetan, Rosetta, Scarlet/Range and Grau Fee. Tuxedos are not feather-sexable, buy you can vent-sex them at 6-8 weeks of age. Learn more about vent sexing here.

- Weight: 9.2-9.8 oz at 10 weeks
- Egg weight: 12.5-13 grams
- Egg production: 310-320 eggs per year (with supplemental light)
- Productive life span: 2 years, 3 months
- Hatches true 50% of the time. The other 50% will be white or solid colors such as Tibetan, Rosetta, Grau and Scarlet.

Your eggs come from an NPIP certified (#31-1243) flock and are shipped the same day they are laid. We pack them in foam to ensure they arrive intact. We guarantee a 50% hatch rate!
