About the Feather-Sexable Mix
These hatching eggs are a mix of feather-sexable quail, which means that you don’t have to wait for chicks to reach full maturity to identify their gender. At three weeks old, feather-sexable females have spotted chests, males have solid-colored chests. That means you can select your breeding groups and separate extra males before they reach maturity, which can prevent incidents of aggression!
This mix includes a combination of any of the following:
- Jumbo – Wild, Egyptian, White Wing
- Standard Size – Egyptian Fee, Falb Fee, Pansy Fee, Golds (Italian, Golden Manchurian), Autumn Amber, Sparkly, Pearl

If you are starting out with quail this is a great mix to start with. They are easy to sex. It will help you out when you first are starting out. Within about 3 weeks you will be able to tell which ones are males and which ones are females. It will help to to put your breeder sets together. Sometimes vent sexing birds can be difficult at times and the males sometimes do not present them selves as one. With the feather sexable their is no doubt and which ones are females and males. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE IF YOU ARE STARTING OUT. Even if your not they are a great and fun to have. You never know what your going to get. Also it will help you to get started with multiple colors at once.

I believe about 18 hatched out of the 25 eggs, possibly more since we mixed them in with our eggs. I could definitely tell which ones were from here(at least the lighter colored ones) Chicks are about ~2 weeks and starting to show their colors! Very happy with the looks. Wanted to add some new to our existing stock and these will be a perfect addition. Thanks. Very pleased.
