Pearls are bred for their beautiful coloring and outstanding egg production. They are feather sexable, which means that you don’t have to wait for chicks to reach maturity to identify their gender. At 3 weeks old, females will have spotted chests, males will have solid chests. That means you can separate extra males before they reach maturity and prevent incidents of aggression.

I’m deeply enjoying my Pearl quail. I got a 76% hatch rate! I bought mine in mid June 2020, so the pearl is hatching about 70-80/100 true at the time. I really like the other colors that they hatched as anyways!
I’ve had what sense February this year and the Pearl is the best addition! They are so pretty! I’m really thankful they sent extra eggs because they couldn’t have known that two were cracked and one wasn’t fertilized. I get those from my own hens. Still, 26 ran through and most hatched! 100% satisfied. I’m buying another batch! Thank you! 💘

One of my most favorite colors. They are beautiful birds. They are very hearty and lay a great amount of eggs. If you are looking to expanding your flock I would recommend these guys.
