About Myshire Canada

Hello! We are Cerri and Darren Knap in Vars, Ontario.

We raise and ship Myshire Farm quail hatching eggs in Canada.

We came into quail accidentally!

After retiring from the Canadian military, we moved to a small 5 acre farm in 2021. Although not initially intending on farming, we quickly became aware that a degree of self-sufficiency was needed based upon world events.

We made a decision to fill our (and our family members') freezers with healthy food.

We raised quail, cattle, pigs, turkey, chickens, ducks and goats. Having realised we overproduced, we started the Knap Family Mini Ranch and opened a small farm store attached to our home to sell our surplus meat and eggs to our community. We had a hard time keeping the store stocked due to its popularity!

Today we still raise animals to feed our own family, but our main focus is on raising quail for folks in Canada who are looking to increase their own self-sufficiency. We invite you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
