In addition to their stunning color, Autumn Ambers are good egg layers. They are feather-sexable, which means that you don’t have to wait for chicks to reach maturity to identify their gender. At 3 weeks old, feather-sexable females have spotted chests, males have solid-colored chests. That means you can select your breeding groups and separate extra males before they reach maturity, which can prevent incidents of aggression! You can also use Autumn Ambers to create chicks whose gender is identifiable AT HATCH! Watch video below for details.
