  1. Loved your videos. You guys are doing what I have dreamed of doing in my previous years os raising the Jumbo Brown. The conveyor system is excellent. Would love to know how to build the part that goes under the cages. I’m starting my little business back up in the mountains of north Georgia and will probably only be doing 50-75 breeders in my current location. I used to have a GQF Sportsman incubator and hatcher but sold everything and have to get it again – sadly. Keep up the great work, it is very inspirational. I will be in touch for eggs when I am ready again. Just restarted my blog at blueridgequail.com. I have a few older videos out there at https://www.youtube.com/user/waltersingingr/videos?view_as=subscriber. Looking forward to you next series of videos!! God bless.

  2. We were watching the how to sex video showing feather sexing with spots and vent sexing. How old do they have to be to vent sex?

    1. 6-8 weeks. It’s a little tricky. We are going to be doing an updated video on how to. With a little more information

  3. I am looking to purchase some eggs. I am new to quail so not sure which ones to get. I want the large ones. My initial reason is I am retired and want something to keep me busy. I am going to use them for meat and eggs to eat initially. which ones would you recomend? I have a question about the eggs, if using them to eat, should they be fertal or not? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just to let you know I have been doing a lot of research and built some cages, brooders, and getting an incubator. I really appreciate your site and so far it has been the best one I have seen.

    1. I would highly recommend the JUMBO WILDS. Also congrats and good luck. They do not need to be fertile for eating but it does not hurt either

  4. I ordered some egg’s today, when will they ship?

    1. Mid next week

  5. Wow,
The Flight Pen you built is out of this world! I have been looking for someone that has made an aesthetic flight pen for over a decade. I thought for sure, it would have been in Europe when I did. Amazing job! Would love to visit your farm some day.

    1. Would be happy to have you

  6. Have been watching your videos but have not seen one one processing quail. are you able to use the chicken plucker on the quail and what is the sequence of the process? Also we are in the Florida Panhandle, Would the heat and humidity be a big problem? Thanks for the great info.

    1. We do have some videos on our YouTube channel on how we process our quail. I believe we have 2 different videos but you can use a quail plucker but we found that a chicken plucker is too big for them. And no the heat and or humidity should not be a problem

  7. do i need a permit in Oklahoma to raise your Coturnix Quail

    1. Not that I know of
